Our Official Opening

We were honoured to welcome Paralympic dual gold medal winner Hannah Cockroft MBE to officially open our new school building on June 20th 2013. Hannah was an absolute inspiration, and spoke to the school and our visitors about her life and career so far. Our many special guests had a great time looking round the school, and listening to, and meeting our Star guest! Mr. Warbrick was particularly pleased as he got to wear Hannah's 200m Gold Medal all afternoon, and almost forgot to give it back. Our school choir sang beautifully as did one of our Year Six pupils Sophie. The day marked the end of our long move to our new building, and the beginning of a new chapter in the life of Gomersal Primary School. It was a day none of us will forget!
